A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from paper and glue.
The artwork for Egg Sighted for You began with the pun itself. Turning excited into Egg Sighted immediately brought to mind an enthusiastic egg in oversized glasses. Our original design became Sheldon, a gleeful little egg whose bright red frames make the wordplay unmistakable.
Sheldon is created from individual paper pieces precision-cut by machine, then positioned, layered, and glued by hand. Shimmering white paper forms his egg-shaped body, and a layer of matte black paper creates his eyes and smile. Bright red glitter paper creates his oversized glasses, giving this cheerful little guy his signature look and a whole lot of personality.
The rounded, retro-inspired shape of the Egg Sighted for You lettering felt made for this design. Its playful curves have an egg-like quality of their own, giving the words the same quirky personality as the character above them. Precision-cut from black glitter paper, the lettering is assembled by hand from individual pieces.
Celebrating someone’s good news? Sheldon’s egg sighted about it. From new chapters to small victories and well-earned accomplishments, sending an Egg Sighted for You greeting card is a great way to crack a smile. With a blank interior, there’s plenty of room to share just how excited you are for them.
