A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from layered paper and glue.

Well, hello there! Or should we say, Whale Hello There!? Our original Whale Hello There! design turns a familiar greeting into a playful ocean pun, with one very blue paper whale popping in to say hello.

The whale is created from individual pieces of paper, precision-cut by machine, then positioned, layered, and glued by hand. Shimmering white glitter paper forms the base of the whale, with a sapphire blue glitter body carefully positioned over it. The blue body is shaped to reveal the contrasting white belly and mouth area, with a slender blue line following the lower curve of the belly. A specially shaped piece of black cardstock is tucked between the layers and positioned so only small portions remain visible to form the whale’s eye and define his mouth. A separately cut bright blue foil paper spout rises above his head, adding a splash of movement to the design.

Oversized sapphire blue glitter lettering gives the greeting its playful personality. The flowing script places Whale prominently above the artwork, with Hello There! sweeping beneath it to frame the whale between the two parts of the pun.

This friendly whale is a swell courier for all kinds of messages. Send a Whale Hello There! greeting card to say hello, check in, reconnect after some time apart, share some news, or simply let someone know they're on your mind. The card is blank inside, leaving plenty of room for your message.

💌 Made to Keep

This whale doesn’t have to swim away after your message has been read. The dimensional Whale Hello There! greeting card can be kept, displayed, or framed as original Maine paper art.
