Inside Each Kit
Original Artwork
The artwork you’ll create on your greeting cards is our original artwork, designed to exist as dimensional paper art. We use a machine to precision-cut all of the individual paper pieces that make up the artwork, then organize and label the pieces so you can easily identify everything that goes into creating the design.
Creative Guide
You’ll find a creative guide inside each kit to help you get familiar with all of the glorious paper pieces before you start making your cards. It includes helpful guidance, tips, and finished card examples for inspiration, giving you enough direction to get started with plenty of room to make the cards your own.
Heavyweight Greeting Cards
We include heavyweight matte white card bases sized to create either 4.25 × 5.5-inch (A2) or 5 × 7-inch (A7) folded greeting cards. The card bases arrive flat and are folded as part of the cardmaking process.
Professional-Grade Materials
We use the same professional-grade papers in our Cardcrafting Kits that we use to create our finished paper art in the Mainely Cards studio. Our archival-quality papers are selected for durability, color stability, and clean paper construction. All glitter details are precision-cut from premium no-shed glitter cardstock.
Coordinating Envelopes
Each card is paired with a heavyweight coordinating envelope embossed with the Mainely Cards seal.
Optional Stamps
If you plan to mail your finished cards, you can choose to add non-machinable stamps to each coordinating envelope.
