A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from paper and glue. And a little ink.

Evergreens aren't generally known for giving pep talks. But when you build one from reflective green foil paper and pair it with a little wordplay, it becomes a tree-mendous way to cheer someone on. Our original Rooting for You design brings the tree and handwritten-style message together, letting this little paper pine do what evergreens rarely get to do: root for someone.

Each element of the tree is precision-cut by machine, then positioned, layered, and glued by hand. Reflective green foil paper is layered over matte black paper, with tiny cutouts revealing the black beneath to create the tree's branches and interior details. The trunk is built the same way, layering brown matte paper over black. The irregular branches, tiny markings, and simple layered shapes give the finished tree its quaint character.

The Rooting for You message was designed to feel like a handwritten note of encouragement. A robotic pen writes the words in fine-point black ink on heavyweight white paper, giving the lettering a warm, personal character. The message is mounted on matte black cardstock, creating a paper plaque that frames the sentiment while visually connecting it to the black details in the tree.

Encourage someone through a challenge, cheer them toward a goal, or remind them that you're in their corner with the Rooting for You greeting card. The card is blank inside, with plenty of room for your words to take root.
