A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from paper and glue.
Few things are more closely associated with Maine than a red lobster. It represents our working waterfront, generations of lobstering families, and coastal communities shaped by the fishery. Our Red Lobster greeting card turns that familiar Maine symbol into dimensional paper art you can share.
Our original design begins with a reflective red foil silhouette that creates the lobster's long antennae and slender legs and forms the foundation beneath its body. Red glitter paper pieces are precision-cut by machine, then arranged freehand and individually glued by hand over the foil to build the raised claws, body, shell segments, and tail fan. The freehand placement leaves narrow lines of reflective red foil visible between the pieces, defining the lobster’s segmented shell. Two tiny matte black paper eyes complete the lobster and give him just a hint of personality.
There are plenty of reasons to send a lobster through the mail. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, saying thank you, sending encouragement, inviting someone to a lobster bake, or simply saying hi, the Red Lobster greeting card is blank inside with plenty of room for your own message.
