A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from layered paper and glue.
Maine wild blueberries have been growing across the state's rocky, acidic soils for thousands of years. Unlike cultivated blueberries, they aren't planted in neat rows. They spread naturally through underground rhizomes, creating the low blueberry barrens especially characteristic of Downeast Maine. Today, Maine produces nearly all of the wild blueberries harvested commercially in the United States.
Our original Maine Wild Blueberries design celebrates a fruit that has become part of Maine's identity. We focused on the berry itself, translating its deep blue color, star-shaped crown, and surrounding leaves into dimensional paper art you can share.
The individual paper pieces are precision-cut by machine, with sapphire blue glitter paper forming the three blueberries and their star-shaped crowns, reflective blue foil layered beneath each berry to mimic the mesocarp, and three emerald green glitter paper leaves surrounding the cluster. Each piece is then positioned, layered, and glued by hand.
This cluster of Maine wild blueberries can deliver all kinds of messages. Blank inside, the card is ready for a thank you, a hello, a note to someone you're thinking about, or simply a little sweetness sent through the mail.
