A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from paper and glue.
Red cardinals are often associated with remembrance and the belief that seeing one can feel like a visit from someone who is missed. For someone grieving the loss of a loved one, the sight of a bright red cardinal among the bare branches of a winter tree can be a comforting reminder of the person they hold in their heart.
Our original With Sympathy Cardinal in Tree design is created from individual pieces of paper, precision-cut by machine, then positioned, layered, and glued by hand. A glistening white glitter paper tree is carefully aligned over a thin matte black tree silhouette, leaving narrow edges of black visible along portions of the trunk and branches to create the appearance of a drawn shadow. A small cardinal made from shimmering red metallic glitter paper perches among the white branches, adding a vivid point of color to the winter scene.
Beneath the winter scene, With Sympathy appears in flowing script, precision-cut from black glitter paper. The sentiment offers a simple, heartfelt expression of compassion and support.
The With Sympathy Cardinal in Tree greeting card offers a thoughtful way to reach out after someone has experienced a loss. The card is blank inside, ready for a personal message, a cherished memory, or a few words from the heart.
