A dimensional, handcrafted greeting card made from layered paper and glue.
Maine wild blueberries bring a deep, brilliant blue to all kinds of summer treats, so why not birthday cake? Our original Blueberry Bliss Birthday Cake design brings together three shades of blue cardstock to create a celebratory paper cake perfect for anyone who thinks birthday cake is better in blue.
Sparkling sapphire blue no-mess glitter paper spells out Happy Birthday! in large, flowing lettering across the top of the card.
The Blueberry Bliss cake slice is created from individual pieces of paper, precision-cut by machine, then positioned, layered, and glued by hand. Blue paper fondant wraps around the outside of the slice. Inside, navy blue paper becomes a deep blueberry cake layer, sparkling sapphire blue paper creates a lemon blueberry custard center, and powder blue paper becomes a blueberry chiffon cake layer. Cream paper creates layers of mascarpone frosting between them, and a dollop of sparkling white paper whipped cream adds the finishing touch.
This vibrant blue cake slice is served on a sparkling white paper plate edged in reflective gold foil atop a sparkling silver paper platter.
A celebratory paper candle tops the cake, inspired by the shape and colors of a real flame. Three precisely cut paper layers build the flame from the inside out: blue foil at the center, orange foil surrounding it, and sparkling orange glitter paper forming the outer flame. Festive copper glitter paper creates the wax body and the wick.
Send a slice of blueberry paper cake to a friend, family member, coworker, or anyone you want to celebrate on their birthday. The card is blank inside, ready for your birthday wishes.
💌 Made to Keep
They can have their cake card and keep it, too. After the birthday wishes have been read, the Blueberry Bliss Birthday Cake greeting card can be kept, displayed, or framed as original Maine paper art.
