The Chocolate Decadence cake slice is created from individual pieces of paper, precision-cut by machine, then positioned, layered, and glued by hand. Dark brown cardstock forms the fudge cake layer, sparkling caramel glitter paper creates the center layer, and light brown cardstock forms the milk chocolate cake layer. Creamy white chocolate paper frosting separates the layers while deep brown paper wraps around the cake to form the fondant. A dimensional swirl of sparkling white paper whipped cream finishes the slice.
The finished slice is presented on a sparkling white paper plate edged in reflective gold foil and served on a sparkling silver paper platter.
A sparkling paper flame brings the birthday candle to life. Three precisely cut paper layers build the flame from the inside out: blue foil at the center, orange foil surrounding it, and sparkling orange glitter paper forming the outer flame. Shimmering copper glitter paper forms the candle body and wick.
