Black & White Butterfly | Sympathy Card
Butterflies are often used to symbolize transformation and transition, making them a thoughtful choice for a sympathy card.
We wanted to create a sympathy card that felt elegant, respectful, and visually meaningful without overwhelming the sentiment. The open butterfly design offered the right balance of symbolism, light, and simplicity.
To create the card, we selected shimmering white glitter cardstock for the butterfly base, creating brightness and dimension through the open wing design. Black glitter cardstock forms the butterfly overlay and “With Sympathy” sentiment, providing contrast and visual definition.
The result is a thoughtful way to express sympathy during times of transition and loss.
