Each Mainely Card is handcrafted in our Southern Maine studio.

Every card is signed by hand with the artist’s initials as a maker’s mark before it leaves the studio.

Because each card is individually made, subtle variations in alignment, paper texture, and finish are part of the handcrafted nature of our work. No two finished cards are exactly alike.

Mainely Cards are created to be shared through the mail and enjoyed. Because they are dimensional, we recommend using a USPS non-machinable postage stamp when mailing. Your local post office can also help determine the correct postage, especially if you're mailing multiple cards or including additional items.

We use archival-quality papers and professional materials selected for durability, color stability, and clean paper construction. All glitter details are created with premium no-shed glitter cardstock.

Card Base: Professional-grade matte white 80 lb cardstock.

Silver Platter Paper: Silver glitter for the serving platter.

China Plate Papers: White glitter for the plate and gold foil for the plate rim.

Frosting Papers: Cream buttercream cardstock for the frosting layer. 

Whipped Cream Papers: White glitter for the dimensional whipped cream topping. 

Candle Papers: Bronze glitter for the candle, blue foil for the flame base, gold glitter for the middle flame layer, and orange glitter for the flame detail. 

Blue Cake (Blueberry Bliss) Papers: Midnight blue for the outer cake layer, navy blue for the bottom inner layer, ice blue glitter for the middle inner layer, powder blue for the top inner layer, and ice blue glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering. 

Brown Cake (Chocolate Decadence) Papers: Milk chocolate for the outer cake layer, deep chocolate brown for the bottom inner layer, spiced cider glitter for the middle inner layer, cocoa brown for the top inner layer, and spiced cider glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering.

Green Cake (Key Lime Delight) Papers: Emerald green for the outer cake layer, jade green for the bottom inner layer, emerald glitter for the middle inner layer, soft mint green for the top inner layer, and emerald glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering. 

Orange Cake (Orange Jubilee) Papers: Burnt amber for the outer cake layer, pumpkin orange for the bottom inner layer, pumpkin orange glitter for the middle inner layer, light orange for the top inner layer, and pumpkin orange glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering. 

Pink Cake (Raspberry Reverie) Papers: Rose pink for the outer cake layer, raspberry pink for the bottom inner layer, passion pink glitter for the middle inner layer, pale blush pink for the top inner layer, and passion pink glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering. 

Purple Cake (Blackberry Dream) Papers: Blackberry purple for the outer cake layer, dusty lavender for the bottom inner layer, grape candy glitter for the middle inner layer, pale lilac for the top inner layer, and grape candy glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering. 

Red Cake (Red Velvet Royale) Papers: Brick red for the outer cake layer, deep brick red for the bottom inner layer, metallic red glitter for the middle inner layer, light blush for the top inner layer, and metallic red glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering. 

Yellow Cake (Lemon Burst) Papers: Marigold for the outer cake layer, golden yellow for the bottom inner layer, brass gold glitter for the middle inner layer, pale butter yellow for the top inner layer, and brass gold glitter for the "Happy Birthday!" lettering.

Adhesive & Back: Professional-grade, non-toxic adhesive. Printed with Canon pigment ink and finished with a hand-signed maker's mark.

Envelope: Professional-grade white envelope embossed with the Mainely Cards seal.

Packaging: Clear protective sleeve.

Mainely Cards are produced in small quantities throughout the year. If a design is temporarily unavailable, it will return when the next production batch is completed.

Orders are shipped via USPS from Saco, Maine. Available shipping options, costs, and estimated timelines are shown at checkout.
