Blueberry Bliss | Cake Slice Birthday Card
Wild blueberries are one of Maine’s most recognizable foods and the official state fruit, making them a natural inspiration for this birthday cake design. Their layered shades of blue and sweet, slightly tangy flavor helped shape a celebratory design inspired by the moment just before the birthday wish.
To create the card, we selected deep sapphire blue glitter cardstock and lighter matte blue layers for the dimensional cake slice. A white glitter plate with a gold foil rim rests atop a silver paper platter, while a lit candle and swirl of whipped cream complete the scene. Sapphire blue “Happy Birthday!” lettering ties the palette together and reinforces the celebratory theme.
The result is a dimensional birthday card designed to celebrate life's simple pleasures.
