Blackberry Dream | Cake Slice Birthday Card
Birthday cake is one of the most recognizable symbols of celebration, and this design was inspired by the moment just before the wish, when a slice of cake with a lit candle is presented.
For Blackberry Dream, we leaned into rich purple tones inspired by blackberry filling, frosting, and layered cake textures to create a design that feels bold, vibrant, and festive.
To create the card, we selected deep purple glitter cardstock and matte lavender layers for the dimensional cake slice. A white glitter plate with a gold foil rim rests atop a silver paper platter, while a lit candle and swirl of whipped cream complete the scene. Purple glitter “Happy Birthday!” lettering ties the palette together and reinforces the celebratory theme.
The result is a dimensional birthday card designed to bring a little extra dreaminess and delight to a birthday celebration.
